How's a man supposed to work under these conditions? Ample free time, money in the bank, a supportive girlfriend. This is no way for a man of letters to live. Hardship. Suffering. These are the cornerstones of artistic achievement!
My apologies to any readers I might have left. I've let my commitment to this project falter over the last year due to responsibilities in my offline life, several long periods of international travel and a near certainty that nobody cares whether or not I bother to write.
In any case, I'm back to it starting today, resurrecting a long-running creative game in which the goal is to produce one piece a day — minus weekends — for the first month of each year.
